Oh for the days of quiet entertainment. The days of board games, card games, quiet reading time, and simple little things like that. What do we get now? Electronic beeps and buzzes, computer generated voices that sound inhuman, and sound effects for everything the imagination used to take care of. Is it time to make a few changes away from “progress?”

Maybe it’s just time to encourage some of the quiet games and books. Books don’t have to be the old classic ones that move so incredibly slowly. They can be the latest children’s books that keep you on your toes. Books that take you on adventures and enable you to plug in that imagination and see incredible sights, hear incredible sounds, and experience incredible journeys without the help of anything electronic. Books that inspire, educate, uplift, entertain, and thrill you all at once.

With books like that you might be able to return to the days of quiet entertainment. Wouldn’t that be amazing?

I needed to use an online English grammar checker to check articles I was writing. I was having a difficult time finding something that was really good. I finally found software that really does the job. I needed to be able to write in different styles and voices for different audiences. I needed the software to understand that so that I didn’t spend a long time going over trivial things. I was glad to finally find a product that was easy to use and could really tear into what I was writing at the level of analysis that was appropriate to the task at hand. This beats the built in grammar checker modules of word processing programs and exceeds any online resource that I have discovered. I wish that I had known this software existed before. It would have at least stopped the stacks of mail and email I would get when the slightest grammar error was encountered. The public sure is tough on a writer. Make it tough on them. Use software that makes what you produce perfect.
